Lest We Forget
On November 11th the students at Pine River Institute organized a touching ceremony for Remembrance Day. Students shared stories, read poems and sang songs that reflected the themes of Remembrance, Sacrifice, Gratitude and Freedom. Visiting Georgian College

How we remember
Today the staff and students of Pine River Institute commemorated Remembrance Day with a touching ceremony. Students recited poems including In Flanders’ Fields and Goodbye Young Soldier. One student shared a poignant letter from her grandmother chronicling her experiences of the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia and the Holocaust.
